Retail Skills Employment Training (Certificate)

Program Overview
Completing the training will provide individuals with skills essential for retail sales and customer service for work in clothing stores, grocery stores, book stores, shoe stores, corner stores, gas bars, etc. It will also give participants with skills transferable to other sectors, including call centres and the food service industry.
Practical Skills Training (150 hours) Full day classroom instruction with College of North Atlantic Instructor at New Hope Community Centre .
Personal Development (75 hours)
This is a credit course of the Adult Basic Education diploma, taught by a College of North Atlantic Instructor at New Hope Community Centre 
Practical Training (3 weeks) After completion of the 225 hours (9 weeks) in the classroom, a three week work placement is arranged in consultation with the student.
